3 quasi-decent contestants are the Lenovo Tab4 Plus, Huawei Mediapad m3 & Asus Zenpad 3S. But the market is pushing crappy low end (eg. 16gb, no 4G) versions & they all have hardware issues

You think you have problems? Phones are so big these days I need both my hands to dial a number. :-)

i have a huawei mediapad with 4g, 4gb of ram and 64gb of rom. tho id still be using my nexus 7 if the screen didnt break for the second time a few months back.

The Mediapad was my first potential pick, but it’s woefully underpowered in the GPU, and most importantly, networking, depts https://www.notebookcheck.net/Huawei-MediaPad-M3-8-4-Tablet-Review.185211.0.html … a real letdown imo
