For one thing, constant micro-tweaks to fonts haven't produced an appreciably clearer & more consistent L&F. Still feels like being tweaked.

Rounding avatar corners is one thing, but going full circles forces everyone to ditch any pretense of avatar design & feels more alienating.

I never saw the appeal of the ever-increasing whitespace doctrine. Esp. w rounded corners, makes text unhinged. Anchor at optimal and *stop*

Design was never my forte, but after tweaking endlessly w live-previewable CSS, I realized that knowing when to *stop* is a design virtue.

I'm not saying that I'd prefer Twitter remaining ugly forever, aside from minor tweaks, like FB. Fix a baseline aesthetic & let us tweak it.
