Loving my time in #Dishonored2 so far. Runs much smoother than #DeusEx4 post-patch on my old rig (mostly), is a joy to explore at leisure

Karnaca, in particular, is the most delightful take of a Mediterranean-type city in a game I can remember. "The light is excellent," indeed.pic.twitter.com/erp1pgvL1m

Like its predecessor,
#Dishonored2 is made up of verticality & the particular misery/joie de vivre of unique citieshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6sbRxzivpw …1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

Karnaca is making me miss Chania, Marseilles & New York at the same time. Neat trick, that,

Not everything is perfect, ofc. Mobs don't move around much, beyond stealth-challenging WPs. And the limited save system is infuriating.

More than superb exteriors, Arkane nailed interior prop work, making every space feel lived-in & classy. Teachable game design

All of this makes #Prey such an awkward, strange beast, in comparison to #Dishonored2: a mimic of other standouts, with no soul of its own
