Arguably, what anarchism has been warning people about https://twitter.com/incandesceinto/status/860206939589849088 … (I know how that feels, btw, I'm Greek)
In Europe, socialists & centrists have for the most part been in dereliction of their own ideologies for decades, caving to neoliberalism.

While that's one perspective, it's a bit harsh when facing a monopoly on shared cultural production held by neoliberals for two generations.
-
Life is harsh, I can't afford illusions. Socialists & centrists have failed Europe. If they want another chance, *they* have to reform.
-
You're ignoring one of the greatest power imbalances the world has ever been witness to. Many have burnt-out lives fighting it. Respect them
-
You forget where I live, and you probably know nothing about me. My entire presence here is predicated on respecting struggles for justice.
-
I mean, fuck centrists. They have failed without any struggle. But the left? It's *fucking hard* fighting this system. Why lump together?
-
Socialists in Greece, and much of Europe, haven't been leftist for the most part in a long while. Hell, even Syriza isn't leftist anymore
-
I agree that leadership has been utterly useless, especially Syriza. But at the bottom? I don't like to belittle that seemingly futile work.
-
I've got friends in Syriza torn up by what's become of what they've spent their lives supporting. But I know others who profited, too :(

Maybe so, but I don't see Anarchy as a viable alternative. States exist because of human nature.
