So, this is a thing now?! We love it!https://twitter.com/Guerrilla/status/850735027935727618 …
No, I was specifically referring to Witcher 2. Haven't played 3 yet, but most people aren't impressed by the story, prefer the free roaming.

Ah gotcha. Witcher 2 is fantastic with its story, and the story in 3 is awesome as well, though it has a forgettable villain.
-
Witcher 2 is a letdown in responsiveness/Ch. 2 complexity & checkpointing, but sterling otherwise. I'll move to W3 soon as I finish it
-
The combat isnt the most amazing combatwise, and 3 takes awhile to get good. Are u doing both storylines?
-
Not sure yet, started off w Iorveth which I consider canonical & it's fun. But as I said, ch. 2 is a mess (specifically the investigation)
-
I only did the Roche one all the way through, still need to finish Iorveth side. I got very annoyed with how inaccurate the waypoints are
-
Well, at least story-wise, you're gonna love Vergen if you dig dwarves & rebels. Yeah, waypointing is a mess. Hope UX is improved in W3
-
It is drastically, though there are a few times where it's a bit confusing
-
I dig everything about W2's story, except Geralt's obsession w finding Y, which requires knowledge of W1, and continues in 3, am I right?
