The story-driven way HZD opens up the sandbox in this segment reminds me of Fallout 2 & I love it for thathttps://twitter.com/asteris/status/842163114586050560 …

Getting open world wanderlust from HZD. Almost tempted to splurge for a console. Can't do FPS/3PS w a gamepad anywayhttps://twitter.com/Christopher_Odd/status/837729996500316160 …

HZD isn't disruptive, but it's prolly current breed open world gold std (best practices from Elder Scrolls, Assassin's Creed, Far Cry etc.)

I suppose I could quench the frustration by going back to Skyrim, but I'm so over Bethesda's mindset (and never finished one of their games)

There's a fair number of gaming genres I can happily binge, but nothing gets the wanderlust going like a well-written expansive open world.

Whether I can stick w an OW long enough to finish it hinges on how it balances challenge/hoarding/story/skill progression. Tricky but doable

Amusingly enough, the only open world game I finished in recent memory was Far Cry 3. Not rly well-written, but it held my interest somehow.
