Line of Duty (by 2x2) is simply put the best police procedural series I've seen in yrs. Killer cliffhangers -often literally- every ep.
ofc I haven't, doing 'spot' reviews; and why aren't you folks telling me about these fab series from this side of the pond? :p

Then there’s all time classics like ‘Edge Of Darkness’, ‘Traffik’ & ‘Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy’...
-
@teacherdude also went nuts about Utopia, for good reason; he often tells me of good Brit series but I'd appreciate more tips ;) -
Oh, and an Irish rather than British series, but ‘Love/Hate’ is definitely worth your time. S1 seems a bit meh...
-
gladly, I mean anything exceptional from the islands; if it's Irish or Scottish, so much the better

I take it more prestige series like ‘The Night Manager’ and ‘London Spy’ were better publicised?
-
I accidentally caught The Night Manager on a transatlantic, liked it but nothing stunning; now, Utopia was really something else
-
OK - then on a Lennie James tip he is peerless in ‘Buried’, a prison drama: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buried_(TV_series) …
-
great, I'd gladly watch anything w James, if I can find it. I used to be able to discover cult Brit films & series more easily
