Apple part replacement is as extortionate+hard to DIY as ever. I can buy 2 Lenovo laptops for the service price. Or do an epic repair quest

Apple gunks everything together in 13" Retina MBPs, will replace half the comp for a chipped nail. I caved, but going back to PCs after this

Smart decision would be to ditch the MacBook & buy a cheap/serviceable laptop. But it carried 2 yrs of reported.ly, it's part of the family
