Any austerity-friendly options to salvage a cola-drenched Macbook? Works but kdb/pad sticky, shop guy told me kbd+batt will set me off ~400

Once-over/repair pending, but shop guy sez there's no way to clean a kbd membrane, or order it separately from a battery. I call greedy bull

Dunno if miniaturization made it impossible to clean kbd membranes (besides throwaway mentality). In the 80-90s, we could clean them easily

Replacing the top case sounds difficult. However, the part can be found on eBay cheaper than new...

I think/hope I'll only have to replace the kbd+touchpad membranes & the battery, at worst. Otherwise works, just a cola soak
