last Nokia phone I ever owned was the N900. Loved that Linux brick, but it was too unwieldy, repeatedly prone to breakage

Issue for me was, smartphones are ‘computers’; my Nokias (at least the series 40s) weren’t. Cue ADHD, anxiety, etc.

I remember the 1st time I performed "surgery" on a busted Casio watch, realized it was a "computer" and what that heralded :)
