Plenty of nits to pick w Rogue One but it totally nails the frantic hope/despair calculus of what's at stake in the moment (and in our time)

Yikes. Not sure I can keep him off Rogue One, with all the hype, but will warn him.
-
I wouldn't have taken my nephew to see Awakens either, but it wasn't my decision. Rogue One is even more made for adult fans
-
My son loved TFA, I'm struggling over Rogue One. Might go by myself and take him later if it's okay.
-
I'd suggest that too. It's not all bad, there's plenty of entertainment to be found, but you know us eclectic misers ;)
-
Well, I enjoyed the hell out of TFA, and there was quite a lot of painting by number's there, but I take your point.
-
I did too, for the most part. But Rey's agency did shine through it, despite the excessive painting-by-numbers overhead
-
It's weird, it's no less cynical than (21stC) Ghostbusters, but it annoyed me in that franchise, as it didn't in TFA.
