I have to watch Farscape entire, what I saw didn't bowl me over. What B5 explored remains pertinent, and even core, in modern SF

the elder vs younger races arc, totalitarianism/bigotry at home vs building trust/tolerance between cultures

I can't say I see those as the themes of SF, particularly. It really grated on me how humans were special. Why?

There’s even an entire Captain Ahab and the Great White Whale subplot. I really enjoyed it. Saw fan-funded miniseries too.

The 1st season has wobbles but then catches its stride & sucks you in. The show is about people being good to each other.
