(Also note the viscosity & color, that's what a proper frappé looks like)

my friend, there is only one proper way to serve coffe...

I can enjoy both ways, and several more (think Istanbul), but I'll always be craving a proper frappé occasionally :)
-
Love: Espresso, Turskish w cardamon, frappe, cold brew, Irish coffees. Hate: Filter, Dunkin Donuts. do we have a deal?
-
I'm partial to eclectic filter, but deal :)

yeah the "no water" part drives me insane here in Germany
-
yup, and they don't do tap water at all. Once walked 3km to find water in Germany, true story
-
I know! Even in school they give out carbonated water to the kids. Mine hates it, so we always run around with normal water bottles

an Italian would argue that you didn't get coffe but something else.

-
hahah, I thoroughly enjoyed Rome's cafés, if they served complimentary water alongside the espresso, I might consider migrating ;)
-
for that you have to go to Naples, the coffe capital of Italy and one of the world nicest places
