One would at least expect the Legendary Edition to have ironed out game-breaking quest bugs, 1 1/2 yrs later. Wrong.
Over 2 yrs after the last patch was released, Skyrim is still unbelievably buggy, even main quests (Esbern). Unforgivable, @BethesdaStudios

I love Skyrim & most Elder Scrolls games, but Bethesda's cavalier attitude at their rampant bugginess is a huge turnoff.

Look at what gamers are going through to fix Skyrim's bugs http://www.gamefaqs.com/pc/615805-the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim/answers/303283-the-fight-to-fix-the-esbern-bug-continues-can-anyone-help-me … this one's still active for me, patched Legendary on Steam

Skyrim Esbern fix, thanks to this YT tip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66Rl_LeccCI … Bethesda hired Max Von Sydow & muted him w a persistent bug. Unbelievable.

@asteris i did a play through on retail release not too long ago, noticed no bugs. funny that.@BethesdaStudios -
@Igualitarista man, I'm telling you Esbern is bugged on the Legendary Edition bought from Steam. Last patch, last Unofficial, everything. -
@asteris oh, I believe you. for as much they fix download content brings new bugs. -
@Igualitarista this is unacceptable, it's a gamebreaking main quest bug that should've been fixed long ago, nothing to do with mods/DLCs
