Ubuntu rolls out ~1 kernel update per week, mostly w.o a hitch. How come there's not an automated way to ditch the old one & save space yet?
@thanosk understandable, but I'd appreciate an option for dselect to ditch the old one, it's time & space consuming

@asteris space is like ~150MB trivial in todays world. don't know if ubuntu uses grub but you can ask it not to wait for kernel selection -
@thanosk ofc Ubuntu uses grub; this would be a useful option for newbies, who don't know how to cook grub. 220Mb isn't trivial on my old PC
