Again, practically the only pro-EU/anti-austerity party that's staunchly anti-racist right now in Europe is Syriza. That's the left for you.

That's not to say that Syriza is the cat's whiskers, but at least on paper, it offers a way out of the nightmare Europe is plunging in.

But at least, UKIP's ascendance has put the silly notion that the far-right can be non-racist to bed for good. History knows they can't be.
