@sasaibrulj I honestly don't know; my first DSLR was a Nikon D40, I wouldn't want to do w.o at least a basic one. But I'll get an ILS next -
@asteris That's what bothers me as well; having a proper camera is a must-do, but not sure if compact system is 'proper' enough... -
@sasaibrulj honestly, don't worry about propriety; modern post-compacts are good enough for most work, and paint less of a 'target' on you

@asteris@sasaibrulj though if you are shooting sport I'd say go for the DSLR. Fuji tracking AF not great. -
@paulmwatson I'm actually prioritizing photojournalism/street portraits (not sport-speed, but fairly snappy AF needed) and low light perf
