@astambi I know there was an intermission btn Bulgarian protests. But they resumed, and the root causes are supposedly/arguably the same -
@asteris I wouldn't call it an intermission because currently demands reach much higher (rule of law & morality) than just energy bills. -
@astambi certainly, but I've seen a lot of commentary from Bulgarians on how those same essential demands underlie earlier protests -
@asteris The duration of the protest helped make widely shared the understanding that rule of law is a prerequisite for personal well-being.
