It used to be that @Amnesty could free prisoners of conscience with snail mail. Why is it so hard to mount tweet petitions in the thousands?

@asteris I don't think it's a matter of whether anyone would care as certainly some would. Issue is whether you could gain a critical mass. -
@curtiskj I know. For instance, Bahrain fell below critical mass of int'l interest a year and a half ago, and never again regained it
