5,200 words and 101 end notes later, I've drafted another book chapter. Not bad for two days' work. If I can only keep up this pace....

@asteris I may do that informally, but I've got a spreadsheet that lists chapters, their word counts and overall % of what's left to do.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@asteris the hard part is that I can only write so many words for a book, so it'll be near impossible to cover everything I want to cover. -
@acarvin that's always the hard balance. Is cramming it all in one volume mandated by the publisher? Maybe split it in 2 volumes? -
@asteris Two volumes isn't an option. One possibility is to have additional materials on my blog and/or book website.

@asteris Most of the book focuses on Egypt, Libya and Syria, and I've drafted chapters for Tunisia and Bahrain. Still figuring out Yemen. -
@acarvin also, Yemen somehow feels even more important to cover, precisely because it was so complicated, protracted & left out in coverage -
@asteris Since it's about soc media and journalism, I'm struggling to find something from Yemen I haven't represented in a prior chapter.
