Am I the only one who still regards Halloween as one of those occasions you simply cannot celebrate on a different night (like Christmas)?
The gaming industry seems to disagree, their Halloween specials often last a fortnight (eg. Warframe) :p

I imagine it is the same with Christmas. In Lebanon All Saints’ Day is a holiday so it was possible to celebrate Halloween even when it fell midweek. Here in Sweden people think I am crazy (and obsessive) when I insist to celebrate it on the real date.

Yeah, the commercialization of Xmas (and other holidays) has led to the extension of festivities to a ridiculous degree. Here in Greece, shops start blasting carols mid-November, or even earlier. I feel you, mate :)
