The release of #WeHappyFew by Microsoft & Gearbox in an untested, shoddy state, w a price of €60-90 (3-4x EA price) is one of the most depressing recent cons in the videogame industry, and no amount of design & story Joy will make this Downer go away.https://twitter.com/JeremyPenter/status/1027525352850169856 …
And btw, good on Hello Games for taking the time to partly fix/enhance their notorious hype scam of a game, but €55 for No Man's Sky is still a rip-offhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLTHVT1vazQ …

ya they did a good job shoring some stuff up. But can't recommend it still due to various reasons

The larger issue, apparent in the We Happy Few release as well, is that industry suits are starting to think they can sell overpriced, under-baked goods on hype & over-baked promises. (And I devoured EA playthroughs of the latter.)
