I don’t need to imagine 50C cities, I’m already wasting away a little more every summer in the thermal island of my 30+ city. Thankfully, the breeze since last night makes 31C bearable right now.
We’re getting older and more susceptible to extreme weather. Our generations will probably pay a heavy price to climate change (which they failed to curb) in their golden years.

I feel so sorry for my kids they’ll never grow up with normal seasons like we did. We already had 19C last week in winter. And another 17C this week. The planets on fire.

The part that worries me the most is the observable heating up of the seas. Chalkidiki’s intra-peninsular seawater was piss-warm for much of last week (not entirely uncommon, but I don’t remember it that warm.)

This is why it’s so bad and only going to get worsehttps://www.independent.co.uk/environment/gulf-stream-current-climate-change-ocean-temperature-ice-age-global-weather-a8300896.html …
