The calculus of anti-fascist football is simple: I’ll be rooting against any team whose wins would result in fascists beating up migrants, regardless of whether I like that team’s performance or not.

Ok, it’s more complex than that, I guess. And then there’s Germany, a team whose success was obviously built on migrant talent, and whose losses might allegedly empower the fascists.
