There seems to be a lot of wishful thinking among the DC punditry that the GOP hasn’t gone off the rails & is now the Party of Q.

The wishful thinking I see is that the GOP has chosen to be the party of Q, and that choice is going to cost them at the ballot box. Unfortunately, I think that is the choice GOP voters want. I doubt they suffer for this.
