@emlynaddison because the reality is that 42% of Americans think the earth is 6,000 years old. Zodiac thinking is not as big a problem.

@emlynaddison it seems to me that we need to get pseudoscience out in the open in order to show that it's unsubstantiated bunk.

@Bretwinograd I agree, I just think it's unwise to make science class the venue--as described here, it imparts a legitimacy to creationism.
