@wood757 Not much discussion on climate science going on there. More of an ad hominem blog than a science blog.
@NoDirectAction Yeah, every day that I drive through Los Angeles smog I just laugh my ass off at those kooky, biased scientists. @wood757

@emlynaddison If you can see it, it isn't CO2. Have you thought through how you will drive thru Los Angeles in a low carbon economy?

@NoDirectAction A bus. Oh and maybe a bicycle or three. But human affairs can't possibly impact the earth: http://www.nbcnews.com/id/29838444/ns/us_news-environment/t/oil-plagues-sound-years-after-exxon-valdez/ …@wood757 -
@emlynaddison Yes, we all oppose oil spills. Some are opposed to wind turbines for similar reasons. Have you trialed your cycling idea yet?
-
@NoDirectAction Yes, like Big Oil "opposes" them. Wind energy is not a final solution, but it will be a part of one.@wood757 -
@emlynaddison That's a
#GreenMyth. Some big energy firms invest in wind energy because returns are guaranteed by taxpayer subsidies.#AusPol -
@NoDirectAction So wind energy, by your logic, will have NO PLACE in ANY energy future. Excellent. Tell me what happens when oil runs out. -
@emlynaddison Small scale wind energy is good for pumping ground water on farms. Traditional small scale is far more neighbourly as well.
-
@NoDirectAction "Small scale"? Denmark's 2012 electricity supply from wind power was 35.3%. Germany & Netherlands are catching up.@wood757 - 13 more replies
