@MMFlint They did more than help. the U.S. did nothing single handedly with regard to the war. Only in their minds -
.
@SOOTHE_ I'm not US-born but I've read enough books on the topic to understand that w/out US size+$$$ WWII would have ended differently. -
@emlynaddison I agree size played a huge role. But size doesn't negate other's contribution & loss. U.S. tend to minimize it all the time.
-
@SOOTHE_ Yes, they do minimize all the time but I stand by my POV that without their "role" WWII might have been a very different affair.

@MMFlint The only war they did fight alone they fucked up royally. NAM... Couldn't even welcome home their vets properly. -
@SOOTHE_ Agreed, & Iraq, Afghanstn & most of their fucked up f. policy. Obama's ex-pastor was right: 9/11 was chickens coming home to roost. -
@emlynaddison Iraq was trumped up because bush wanted to get Sadam for putting a hit out on his dad. The intel was bogus, not verified.
-
@SOOTHE_ Yes, of course; this is all very old fodder, long ago parsed & sorted. (I'm not a Republican war-monger, I assure you.) -
@emlynaddison I'd talk to you even if you were . LOL The language would just be alot more colourful .
