To wit: Bradley Manning: Criminal or Whistleblower? http://motherjones.com/politics/2012/01/bradley-manning-criminal-whistleblower-wikileaks … via @motherjones
@tadmaster How? It would seem a foregone conclusion that classified implies secret and thus, off-limits, regardless of what it's "termed".

@emlynaddison: real whistleblower would have gone to the Inspector General, Office of Special Council, Congressional oversight, not stolen.
-
@tadmaster So he goes to jail for life? If the info merited such attention, why did nobody go through proper channels long ago? Hmm. -
@emlynaddison - people have died because of him who would not had he done what I just said. The process is not perfect, but he is a criminal
-
@tadmaster I didn't know people had died as a result. (Who?) But "imperfect" is a cop-out: If there is a process why didn't someone do it? -
@emlynaddison - you may call it a "cop out" but there's quite a bit that shouldn't be said about this on Twitter.
-
@tadmaster Your last tweet, to many, would support their whole argument on secrecy. Endangerment is one thing, unused processes is another. -
@emlynaddison oh, and I thought of an example of the process working: former LtCol Allen West.
-
@tadmaster And did he make known, one way or another, anything like the same type of documents? Was he considered a whistleblower? - 5 more replies
