The feeling when you have worked intensely for a long time on something important and it just turns out better than you expected. One of the best feelings as a developer, and also one of the best experiences as a leader.

I guess this is something that a lot of people know, but I just realised it. Damn I wish I was a little bit taller. (4/4)

This of course means that you will have a much harder time to separate IO operations from the pure logic in your implementation, hence leaving you with code that is much harder to write automatic tests for. (3/4)

With auto incrementing integers as identifier you end up with code where you get a dependency on creating objects in a db in serial when you have dependencies between tables. (2/4)

The feeling when you realise why integers as identifiers are so bad compared to GUID's to a degree when you almost feel ashamed for having that realisation so late. (1/4)

Today we're making GitHub free for teams of unlimited size, for private and public work. 🎉 Every developer on earth should have access to GitHub, and price shouldn't be a barrier.
