Thanks dude. Hmmm you're the second person to think it's a multiplier, it's just the number of rainbows you have collected. I may have to tweak that so it communicates better.

I would hope so, the Sega Super Scaler games were a big influence in

Thanks. For sure, I have credited Sega Super Scaler games as a huge influence on
#MaoMao Castle, games like Outrun, Afterburner and of course Space Harrier. As well as Never Ending Story and Stuio Ghibli. I spent the 90s in an arcade. Scanlines were huge part of the aesthetic. - Antwoorden weergeven

I, on the other hand, grew up with scanlines and waited for the new tech so I don't have to. I much prefer clean pixels.
