I decided to stay in SF this time like an authentic tech hipster and now I’m spending almost 4 hours a day commuting. How do people do it?

I moved from part of the East Bay I really liked down to the South Bay entirely because of how bad the commute was.

Yeah that’s even more extreme. I went to Berkeley last night to meet with a friend and Caltrain shuttle/Caltrain/BART took about two hours. There was a coach to Berkeley too but that would’ve been 2 1/2 hours. 880 must be real bad

I was doing 680, which is mostly fine except the Sunol Grade between Pleasanton and Fremont. If Berryessa BART had opened on time, I *might* have been okay commuting ~3-4 days per week.
