At USNA, wrote a paper on the Caine Mutiny without having finished the book. My thesis was that Thomas Keefer was the true hero of the story (I did read the first half, and he seemed like a stand-up guy). It didn’t end well ... for Keefer or my grade. Read the tax bill, Congress.
