The US together with 50+ other democracies (including socialists states) have recognized Juan Guaido as the President of Venezuela. So no, it is not illegal to occupy our property. However, @codepink sleeping in our embassy is trespassing #AskaVenezuelan, @carlosvecchio

Together less than 1/4 of the world's nations. The rest maintain their recognition of Nicolas Maduro as the democratically elected and legally legitimate president. Nobody elected Guaido, he didn't even run for president.
