Come on, @tim_cook’s “why would you buy a PC anymore?” comment was overzealous marketing speak, it’s not myopic to push back.

The iPad is a great PC replacement for many people, but it’s not for many others. Pointing out why it isn’t is as important as why it is.

Apple is marketing mode trying to convince us an iPad is a great PC replacement, tech journalists aren’t myopic for telling us why it’s not.

But I’m also looking forward to people like @viticci explaining how and why more people should consider iPads as PC replacements.

Speaking of the iPad, I’m thinking about getting an iMac for the office, selling my MBP, and trying out the iPad Pro for any remote work.

I hardly use my MBP outside the office these days and could probably get away with remote desktop on the rare occasions I need OS X.
