Alex Jones and @infowars are not only one of the biggest factors in Trump’s success in the 2016 election, but have been fighting the deep state, intelligence agencies, federal banks, and mainstream media since 1999.
@RealAlexJones began the takedown of the establishment.

Hey
@facebook, I noticed you took down@infowars’ page. Can you explain why BAMN and Yvette Felarca, who are known for inciting violence, still have a page? Here’s a video of them body slamming me into a car. Ironically enough an Info Wars reporter, @JacobCLloyd, saved me.pic.twitter.com/pFllBUJM37Show this thread -
This is my one request for
@realDonaldTrump It was because of voices like@infowars and the many others who are now being silenced, you are the president of the United States. If you care to protect the voice of the American people, you will stand up for@RealAlexJones.Show this thread -
Alex Jones was the first to speak out against the political corruption, the censorship, the mainstream media, the intelligence agencies, the New World Order agenda. Even if you disagree with him,
@RealAlexJones has and always will be the heart of this fight.#FreeInfoWarsShow this thread -
To all those celebrating the deplatform of
@infowars, they will come for you too. This isn’t an issue of left vs right speech. This is an issue of everyone’s freedom speech.#FreeInfoWarsShow this thread -
In 1977, The Sex Pistols’ “God Save the Queen” was banned from BBC and all local radio stations as it offended the monarchy. Yet it still reached #2 on the billboards. They can slander and censor
@infowars as much as they please, but they can’t stop the message.Show this thread -
Funny how liberals loved
@RealAlexJones when he was going after the mainstream media and intelligence agencies during the Bush administration, but suddenly attack him for supporting@realDonaldTrump who is doing the exact same thing.Show this thread -
They removed
@RealAlexJones from@LinkedIn. This is no longer about censoring opinions. This is about erasing people and ideas from history.Show this thread -
Alex Jones has fought against the establishment and political corruption for years. He has faced slander after slander and the risk of being silenced by the very evil he fights against. But
@RealAlexJones is no longer fighting alone. He has an army.#FreeInfoWarsShow this thread

In 1998
@RealAlexJones confronted Governor George Bush about the Federal Reserve. They arrested him within seconds. Now he’s an international voice for freedom. They silence him because they fear him.Show this thread -
Everyone laughed when I said “they eat rats in Venezuela” and when
@RealAlexJones said Atrazine turns frogs gay. Both proven true. But CNN spent a year obsessed with Russia and@TYTNetwork is literally run by an Armenian genocide denier. Who’s the real conspiracy theorist here?Show this thread

Nope. AJ still has free speech. The government isn’t censoring him.

The Govt is run by Corps, so yes, the Govt is censoring them. U can stop with the 'it's private' nonsense, most of Congress is owned by Corps. Face it this is an attack on the 1st Amendment and you are justifying it. No matter what one thinks of Infowars, this is wrong
-
This is FASCISM, pure & simple! It's time that the PEOPLE understood!
-
I'm really glad to see the Centrist Dems, who also cheer for the silencing of Assange, expose themselves even more with their lame 'private corps have a right to shut you all up' crap. Dems are going to lose big in the Fall, and my crystal ball tells me ... wait for it .. RUSSIA

It’s not an attack on free speech, they are not obligated to allow someone to use their platform to speak, it’s their right to refuse service to anyone
-
I agree with you that a privately owned platform can use their "terms and conditions" to refuse service to someone. But for all of them to do it at once, on the same day? This really seems like a coordinated effort to limit his reach. To limit his speech.
-
I don’t disagree that it’s fishy but I don’t know if there are any laws that prohibit these things, I think social media is still new enough that there aren’t enough guidelines and legal boundaries

Nice try Free speech protects you from your government. It doesn’t give you license to harass parents of kids killed in Sandy Hook, smear Las Vegas shooting victims as “crisis actors”, threaten government employees or spew hate on some else’s platform.
-
Infowars didn't incite anything or harass anyone. And platforms that constitute monopolies and enjoy specifically granted liability exemptions have obligations to the public good. They can't just do whatever they want. They also can't collude to harm a business under antitrust.
