    Be much braver just ban them. Positively encourage alternatives such as paper bags, compostible bags, buy a shopping bag etc

    Just stop making them. Bring back paper bags. Buy a reusable shopping bag. 10p! Should be 1GBP

    If truly the Government wants to combat the use of plastic and rescue the , simply ban the use completely just like the Government have done instead of turning the entire initiative into a money making venture.

    This surely is a route to disaster and a clear example of why All food packaging should be compostable

    British farmer Andrew Rock contacted the Guardian, having noticed plastic shreds in his animal feed. Rock was told by the suppliers that this was a legal part of the process that turns waste food, still packaged, into animal feed 😳😱😡🤯

    If you're a writer, I'd recommend volunteering as an assistant editor. Feel what it's like sending out rejections—especially for pieces you love. Then you understand that there are many factors, and that you'll lose sometimes. Makes it easier to accept your own rejections
