The events of the past few days have echoed with deep sorrow in my heart. We offered hand of peace but all we got is bloodshed. Enemy must realize that we’re not a nation that surrenders to bullying, we’re a nation that defeats the bullying.
I’m here to reassure you that #Afghanistan will continue to rise and nothing will stop us from prevailing against those who kill our innocent people. I stand here before you to assure you that we will avenge this carnage.
I ask of those fighting for a futile cause to come sit with our ulema for a dialogue wherever you desire, be it Deoband or Al-Azhar. When the world stands beside us in this tragic time the enemy forgets that Islam spread from our soil to the rest of the region.
They exploit the holy name of our religion to sow the seeds of terror. They forget Afghans are the ones who defended Islam against all odds and we will not let the name of our religion to be misused for a perfidious cause to frighten our brave nation.
