FFVII was a seminal moment when I realised games could be so much more than the cutesy platformers I'd been playing. The world of Majora's Mask affected in me ways Ocarina of Time didn't Pokémon started the completionist in me. And, WoW... well that truly changed my life.
Fun fact: FFVII was also the first video game I bought with my own money. My own money being birthday money from the family, but still!
