Shadowmoon Valley (Draenor), Talador, Val'Sharah, Aszuna. I expect you'll do a lot less zones if you mix in dungeons (especially as most of the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor zones give dungeon qs). When I do it again I'll probably go Northrend instead of Outland. (2/2)
Other things, I stayed in Blasted Lands till 61, likewise I stayed in Shadowmoon Valley until just shy of 81. Sometimes heirloom scaling can be a bit behind the curve in new tiers, and you still get full xp from the previous tier until 61/81/91 etc.

Jade Forest took me from 81-86! The 20% XP potions from garrison resources also still work, so if you're not planning on using the character, just buy 3 or 4 of those for questing in Draenor - especially if you do treasures and bonus objectives while questing, it speeds it up!

Also, contrary to what I'd read, I never really found that gear from quests etc. was better than heirlooms. The power of heirlooms has been toned down but I still never picked up anything worth swapping them out over, stat wise.
