A pipe dream for me would be a night-time parade that just follows the standard parade route, but starting at the hub only. At the the same time projection mapping on the castle and Main Street USA, with fireworks being set off from both locations. An OTT Paint the Night...
Depends, if it's done well and with respect for the surface its on (see: Disney Dreams, Goofy's Incredible Christmas) then it's a fantastic edition. When it's done in a soulless fashion and doesn't incorporate the surface into the story, it's not that great.
