You don't need to Spiritbind it to 100%. Using a 0% spiritbonded item for glamour will cause it to become 1% - basically so you can't just buy cosmetic items and sell them once you've used them, it's basically the same as soulbinding in WoW in that regard.

Basically you can glamour a piece of gear to look like another piece of gear provided it has the same class/job requirements and requires the same level or lower.

Yeah spiritbonding is just for converting gear into Materia. :)
