      Global warming baby, sometimes it's -10 and sometimes it's 5 degrees celcius. Who knows.

      ..and I've had NYE celebrations in DLP where Uggs, thermal clothing, a thick coat and scarf/gloves/hat was still not enough to keep me warm

      Pretty much this. :) Just have to really make a judgement call based on what the weather is like in the days leading up to the trip.
