The best part of exploring new roles over the past 4 months or so is the places that make candidates attach a CV to their application form, detailing experience and skills, also ask them to include a link to their LinkedIn profile detailing their experience and skills (1/4)

Then after candidates jump through all those hoops, the company has the audacity to not even bother having an automated "thanks for your application, but we're not going to move forward with it etc." mail sent to rejected candidates. (3/4)

And yet when you look at the careers section of the company website you see all sorts of token BS like "we value transparency," "we believe in treating people like people," "we practice open and honest communication" etc. Sure Jan. (4/4)

Bonus: Not every company is like this, and I've had some really positive interactions with some Recruiters that practice what they preach and I can't laud them enough for it. Those recruiters are the real MVPs.
