Then after candidates jump through all those hoops, the company has the audacity to not even bother having an automated "thanks for your application, but we're not going to move forward with it etc." mail sent to rejected candidates. (3/4)

And yet when you look at the careers section of the company website you see all sorts of token BS like "we value transparency," "we believe in treating people like people," "we practice open and honest communication" etc. Sure Jan. (4/4)

Bonus: Not every company is like this, and I've had some really positive interactions with some Recruiters that practice what they preach and I can't laud them enough for it. Those recruiters are the real MVPs.

Sorry you're having such a hard time Ash. Its absolute dogshit trying to get a job right now. Such an employers /recruiters market. Lost count the amount of times I was told I had an interview by a recruiter, only to never hear from them again. Wishing you all the best!
