my fav part of being a social media manager has been having zero (creative) freedom (!) but then asked why things aren't interesting on their brand channels and even doubting the value of my role, sksksskks

And now that I’ve publicly shot in the foot my chances of ever getting employed in the field again I’ll add this hot take: If you’re a brand and all you want to use SM for is push out pure marketing messages, you’re doing SM *very* wrong.
