FWIW he’s the Producer on XVI but not the director. I do like the idea that XVI could be set on one if the shards.
Actually tbh I love the idea and if it ends up happening I will squee very loudly. That and I hope it will finally convince the “I’m skeptical that an MMO can have a good FF storyline” hold-outs among my acquaintances to finally give XIV a try.
