I’m starting to think that asking ONE person to be a Content creator Community manager Digital strategist Data analysist Graphic designer Videographer Writer Photographer Crisis communicator Ad buyer etc and calling them “social media manager” is a little much, don’t you agree?
This list is interchangeable with Community Manager titles at a lot of gaming companies. CM and SMM roles vary so widely in scope and responsibilities between companies it’s cray. The worst I ever saw was working weird hours being sold as “think of it as a lifestyle not a job.”
