I visited the ER and later needed an MRI scan last year and I'm still getting bills for it
I think so far I've paid like $4k in copayments and that's not even counting the amount I'm paying for health insurance so stuff like that doesn't bankrupt me.
I pay for health insurance through my job that covers absolutely nothing so I have to pay for everything with my HSA, which I put like $40 a paycheck into.. My last doctor's visit was like, $250?Call me a commie, but I'm perfectly content with paying higher taxes here to have a state-funded public healthcare system that's largely free to use and doesn't bankrupt people. NGL I've long flirted with the idea of moving to Irvine but the cost of life has been a concern to me

I think they call those people socialists or something here I call them people who care about other people :p I would be content with that too. Yeah Irvine is nuuuts. Even as someone in the US, I sure as heck couldn't afford it
