Sounds to me that they are literally staying open at minimum capacity to have to avoid refunding people... the lack of proper communication from @DisneyParis_EN & the way they are handling things is subpar & a slap in the face of people that are paying so much for their visits
While I agree the communication is atrocious, I doubt they're keeping the resort open to avoid having to issue refunds. They risk paying out *a lot* more in legal battles if someone (or multiple people) happens to contract Covid-19 at the resort and subsequently dies from it.
Thats true, but l seriously doubt legally anyone has a leg to stand on because 1. They are taken precautions which are clearly allowed by the government else they'd be closed 2. People know they are taking a risk (point 3 in the next because not enough space)
3. Disney is ultimately backed by the French government, who have been conducting gross misdeeds towards its people on a regular basis for over a year, even completely innocent bystanders in protests that have gotten seriously injured have had no legal leg to stand on. So yeah
And 4, it will be extremely hard to prove they got it AT Disneyland Paris. Disney can and will argue they got it in transit, before or after their stay. Getting sued over people getring sick is very likely none of their concern.
Fully agree. But it's still your own decision if you go or not? Feel free to stay home? And take the financial pain if you don't want to take the medical risk?
The "you knew it was dangerous, still went, and now you come complaining" act is a bit ...
